FWRadiology utilizes a rigorous peer review process that is designed to measure quality, monitor ongoing procedures and policies, and ensure that superior standards are maintained. Regular secondary reviews of all studies conducted on FWRadiology physicians’ reads take place on a random basis to ensure quality. The motivation for this system is to measure the quality of the physicians group as a whole rather than a discrete evaluation of the individual FWRadiology physician.

And, since its inception in 2006, Center for Medicaid and Medicare Services’ (CMS) Physician Quality Reporting Initiative (PQRI) has played a critical role in the heavily regulated and internally monitored quality initiative at FWRadiology.

As part of FWRadiology’s ongoing commitment to process improvement, a special position has been created as part of the administration team: The Director of Process Improvement. This position is held by a healthcare professional whose years of clinical experience and real-world knowledge enable a comprehensive and pragmatic assessment of processes characterized by collegial communication.
