Timothy J. Grissom, M.D.
Timothy J. Grissom, M.D., F.A.C.R., joined Fort Wayne Radiology Association in 1999. He was born and raised in Omaha,
Nebraska. Dr. Grissom attended the University of Nebraska, majoring in Mathematics and earned his medical degree from
the University of Nebraska College of Medicine. He completed his Radiology residency in 1981, serving as chief resident
in his senior year. Following his residency, Dr. Grissom undertook fellowship training in computed tomography, ultrasound
and magnetic resonance imaging. He served as an assistant professor in Radiology at the University of Nebraska where he
earned his most coveted award, Teacher of the Year for 1986-1987.
Dr. Grissom is board certified by the American Board of Radiology and holds several professional memberships including the American College of Radiology, the Radiological Society of North America, European Congress of Radiology and the American Institute of Ultrasound Medicine.
Married with four children, Dr. Grissom enjoys his workshop, golf and traveling.
