David K. Powell, M.D.
David K. Powell, M.D. joined Fort Wayne Radiology in 1989. Dr. Powell is a native of Fort Wayne. He earned his bachelors
degree in Chemistry from Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana. He earned his medical degree from the Hahnemann
University of Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and completed his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at the University
of Illinois Hospital and Affiliates in Chicago.
Dr. Powell is board certified by the American Board of Radiology. His professional memberships include the Fort Wayne Medical Society, Indiana State Medical Association, American College of Radiology, and the Radiological Society of North America. Dr. Powell was an instructor at the Blessing Hospital School of Radiologic Technology in Quincy, Illinois and served as an assistant instructor in Radiologic Technology at the School of Radiologic Technology at the University of Illinois.
Dr. Powell lives with his wife, Kay and their four children on the southwest side of Fort Wayne. He enjoys attending his children's sporting events as well as playing golf and tennis.
