John D. Reed, Jr., M.D.
John D. Reed, Jr., M.D. hails from Plymouth, Indiana and has been part of Fort Wayne Radiology since 1992. Dr. Reed
earned his bachelors degree in biology from Indiana University, Bloomington before traveling to Johns Hopkins University
in Baltimore, Maryland for his medical degree. He served an internship in medicine at Greater Baltimore Medical Center,
then a residency in radiology at Johns Hopkins Hospital. Returning to Indiana, Dr. Reed completed a fellowship in
interventional radiology at the Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis, followed by a one year staff
position as an Assistant Professor of Radiology.
Dr. Reed is board certified by the American Board of Radiology. His professional memberships include the American College of Radiology, the Radiological Society of North America, the American Roentgen Ray Society, the Society of Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology, and the Johns Hopkins Medical and Surgical Association.
Married and the father of three, Dr. Reed enjoys fitness and water sports, homebrewing and music.
